The last place you'd look

It was easy to sneak into the library unnoticed since it wasn't a place anyone would expect a normal boy to want to be. Gabe walked through the shelves, breathing in the distinct smell of books.

Alucard leant against the wall, sighing in boredom and flicking through the book in his hand.

Gabe walked along looking at the titles on the spines of the books, not really paying attention to where he was going.

Alucard frowned as he saw Gabe, moving towards him silently. He waited until he was right behind him then whispered down his ear. "Boo."

Gabe didn't scream but he did stiffen up and flinch slightly before turning to see who had surprised him. "Sneaky," he grinned.

Alucard smirked. "I do my best." He glanced at the shelves then back at Gabe. "Looking for anything in particular?"

Gabe shrugged, "Just seeing if there's anything interesting. I wonder what kind of blocks they have on the computers."

Alucard wrinkled his nose a little. "I've already tested that- the blocks are pretty heavy." He shrugged. "You can still get images off google Mexico though." He laughed.

"Too bad," Gabe shrugged. "Guess I'll have to get more creative with my entertainment."

Alucard ran a hand through his hair. "I don't know, you can get some pretty strange things off google italy."

"Like what?" Gabe couldn't help but sound interested.

Alucard frowned. "I typed in Father Christmas and got a picture of an Italian person wearing a hippo costume- with a father christmas costume pulled on over the hippo costume..."

"Maybe Father Christmas is really a hippo," Gabe chuckled.

Alucard chuckled, shaking his head. "Perhaps."

Gabe took advantage of the lull in conversation to give Alucard a proper look-over.

Alucard grabbed the black ribbion from his pocket and tugged his blonde hair back, purely to give himself something to do.

Gabe's eyes lingered on the long blonde hair, so different from his own.

Alucard let his hair down loose again, his eyes on Gabe's dark hair. "I like your hair." He commented, small smile on his face.

Gabe ruffled his own short hair with one hand. "Thanks."

Alucard nodded his head. "Think nothing of it." He yawned suddenly, leaning back against the wall.

"Tired?" Gabe asked. "Or just bored?"

Alucard shrugged, smirk on his face. "Depends what you'll say if I say tired, and what you'll say if I say bored."

Gabe's brows furrowed for a moment and then he chuckled. "What kind of guy do you take me for?" He batted his eyelashes innocently.

Alucard leant forwards. "I do believe we dubbed you a drama queen."

"Hmm?" Gabe grinned in amusement.
