Tom looked at them over the top of his sunglasses. "Tom." He offered. "You?"

Brian looked up at him; he had been staring at his dark red painted nails. "Brian." He smiled at the boy's sunglasses, mentally reminding himself that he should buy a pair.

Alucard leant back against the wall again. "Alucard."

The blonde gave them a happy smile, tapping his hand on the desk. "What you guys here for?"

"Drama," Brian replied proudly. "Well, the class and family drama." He rolled his eyes in an exagerated manner.

Alucard laughed. "Join the club."

"Really? Wow." Tom remarked, pushing his hair away again. "I'm a musician. How old be you all?"

"16." Alucard stated, shifting a little. "And yourself?"

"Fifteen," Brian said very quietly, since to him it looked as if the two boys were mostly talking to eachother. He stared at his nails again, feigning boredom.

Alucard glanced at Brian. "So, what's your favourite aspect of Drama?"

Brian quickly lifted his head. "Performing. And being someone else." He smiled shyly.

Alucard nodded. "Understandable, take it as you don't get on with your family." He made a vague gesture with his left hand.

Brian giggled childishly. "They didn't even want me to have that class. Apparently I should study sciences and work in corporate bullshit like my dad."

Alucard laughed. "My father's given up on me now, all his hopes are pinned on my younger brother."

"Oh god," Brian said, putting emphasis on the last word. "Spare me, I'm their only child." He grimaced.

Alucard winced. "Ouch." He tied his hair up, purely to give himself something to do.

Tom hummed to himself, unable to join in with the conversation.

Brian glanced at the other boy. "What about you? Nothing to complain about? Picture-perfect family?" His fingers drummed on his desk.

Gabe strutted into the room confidently and took a seat, winking at the head teacher boldly. "Hello boys. Ready for another year of hell?" he joked loudly.

Brian hesitated between laughing and glaring at the newcomer. He did a curious mix of both. "Excuse me, but you're crushing my hopes right now. It's supposed to be better than the last school I was in."

"It depends. What are you into?" Gabe grinned.

Boys, Brian almost said, but refrained. He was starting to get more and more of these 'coming out' impulses. "Drama. You?" He looked at the boy from head to toe. "Dance?"

"Among other things," Gabe grinned. "Ms. Williams is alright you should be fine. Too bad you're not Logical Design. I could tell you some good rumors about Mr. Beckett."

Brian snorted. He loved gossip, especially when, for once, it had nothing to do with him. "Like what?"

Gabe leaned closer and whispered conspiratorially, "He hasn't been teaching that long, but they say in his first year there was almost this huge scandal. Some student fell in love with him and like stalked him for awhile. To make a long story short, it seems that Mr. Beckett has no interest in women. I heard there was a massive cover-up."
