| Ian stopped outside the door of the dorm room, fiddling anxiously with the strap of his bag. Oh, God, he would finally have a chance to explain to Tom why he had to leave without saying goodbye to anybody. Frowning at the door, he placed a flat palm on the wood. He could hear voices on the other side. | |

| After looking at the floor for God-knew-how-long, Ian decided that he should probably go in. Listening a moment more, he pushed the door open and stepped inside, shutting it behind him. The first thing he could see was Tom. Unshouldering his bag and dropping it to the ground, Ian was quick to cross the space in a few short strides and half-tackle the boy who he hadn't seen for what felt like forever, before he himself knew what was happening. "Who missed me?" he grinned, speech emerging in a half-whisper, attention fully occupied. | |
